Hi Im Greg Gottschalk. I started making knives around 1975 using the stock removal method, and became a member of the Knifemakers Guild in 1988. I met Hugh Bartrug around 1985 and became interested in learning to forge knives, I joined the American Bladesmith Society in 1991 and earned my Mastersmith stamp in 2001.
