ROB\'S CUSTOM KNIVES - Member Knifemakers Guild RH knives are presentation hunting knives. Each knife comes with a custom fit sheath made from 8 - 10 oz. vegetable tanned English Bridle Leather. The hollow ground blades are ATS-34 stainless or stainless Damascus, hardened and tempered to a Rockwell 59. The guards and pommels are 416 stainless. The handles are of various exotic hardwoods, buffalo, elk, stag and ivory. Some handle material is dependent upon availability.
I perform all the many steps involved, from the initial cutting out, profiling and grinding the shape, to the heat treating and final polishing. Each knife has been made with much attention given to details of workmanship, balance and visual appeal. Thank you for your interest in my knives.
