I began crafting knives for the same reason many makers start making knives, I couldn’t find a knife designed to fit my particular needs and purpose. I am an avid whitetail deer hunter. In my 20+ years of hunting experience, I’ve used 20 to 50 different styles of knives, both folders and fixed blades. I have created a knife that I feel is the ultimate big game tool. This knife is tough, compact, and user friendly for field dressing and skinning chores. It has a 3\" blade in either drop point, semi-skinner or spear point configurations. The handle length is 4\". I have several other models available that will fill the bill for hunting and field use. My knives are made for “Big Game Hunting and Survival.” Depending on the situation you are in, any knife that can save your hide is a survival knife. I am a knife user and collector. I appreciate a good knife. I hope my products will satisfy your knife needs. If you have a design in mind that you would like me to make, feel free to ask. If I can do it, I’ll make it to suit you. My main steel is D2. I use 3/16\" thick by 1 1/2 wide and 1/8\" thick by 1 1/4 wide. I believe that these combinations give you the best made, hard use working knife. D2 is a very tough steel, making a practical, functional, heavy-duty blade. I also use 154Cm stainless in 5/32\" thick by 1 1/2\" wide. For my large \"survival\" knives, I\'ll be using 5160 carbon steel. I hope you will want to try my knives on your next hunting trip or outdoor adventure. I think you’ll agree that these knives make a great addition to your sportsmen’s gear.
