As a full-time maker, I really enjoy creating a fine quality handcrafted knife that is also a functional working tool. I want my knives to perform well, look good and feel " right" in your hand. All my knives are hollow ground from 154-CM stainless steel, with a full tang. I do all the work myself, except for the heat-treating, which is done professionally for top quality. I prefer the beauty of natural woods & bone for my handles, although I do use micarta for its practicality, as well. I make my own vegetable tanned leather sheaths, each one custom-fitted with a notch & then wet-molded to a specific knife for a secure fit.
