Sandra Brady
This most recent photo of Sandra with Paul Neumann was taken at a charity auction where a pool cue Sandra scrimmed was actioned off. The custom made "Drexler" cue featured scenes from the original Hustler movie, and was autographed by Paul Neumann. The entire $30,000.00 winning bit went to the Hole in the wall gang camp. A camp for children with potentially life threatening deseases.

An Alumnus of the University of Toledo, Sandra majored in Art, with a particular focus on Anatomy and the human form. This artistic training allowed her to create and define a style that is uniquely hers, one that sets her apart from her contemporaries in the field of scrimshaw.

Sandra Brady is well versed in many different artistic media, such as drawing printmaking, oil painting and pastels, but her true artistic passion will always be scrimshaw. "My particular strong point is wild life scene", she states candidly, "though recently I have been commissioned for many pieces depicting Greek and Medieval mythology. I enjoy working more with the human figure. It can be quite a bit more challenging, but also more fulfilling for that exact reason."

Whether it´s jewelry made from antique elephant ivory, art curios from thousand year old walrus ivory or custom collectible knives, commissions are gladly accepted. Or contact her directly to purchase an "in stock" item.

Sandra currently lives and works in the Toledo, Ohio, area, with her husband Jim Fray, and her children Nick and Emily.
